Blood Tests & Investigations

Dr. Sheila Byrne performs investigations in Leeson Clinic such as blood tests, urinalysis, swabs, rapid tests (including rapid HIV tests, rapid chlamydia tests, rapid gonorrhoea tests), and cervical smear tests. She can discuss and perform some specialised tests, including AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) tests, Lipoprotein (a) tests, and TB tests (Mantoux tests and QuantiFERON Gold tests). She can action referrals for tests such as radiological investigations, cardiac investigations, respiratory investigations, semen analysis, or other specific tests as indicated following consultation. She will relay your results to you as soon as they are available.

Sometimes consultants ask patients to have tests done with their GPs. Dr. Sheila Byrne can facilitate these requests, and your results can be sent securely from Leeson Clinic to other healthcare professionals via the Healthmail system.
